Meanwhile, the Centenary boys from Gardens took home cash reward of FCFA 265,000 as the second best team and Mbende Vipers came third with FCFA 150,000. The competition had brought together 16 teams from the different quarters in Limbe. The best player of the tournament also pocketed FCFA 25,000 and the top goal getter, Roger Ayang, earned FCFA 15,000.The fair play team of the tournament got FCFA 75,000 while the others earned FCFA 25,000 for participation.

Fako SDO, Francois Bona Ebengue, who presided at the finals, thanked the Government Delegate, Andrew Motanga, for keeping the youths gainfully busy during the long vacation.  "I saw the exhibition of a spirit of unity during the competition and I wish that the players should continue to exhibit such a spirit even in their daily lives back in their quarters. I thank the Government Delegate," Bona said.

Motanga said the tournament was the Council's own way of ensuring that holiday makers do not become idle during the long vacation because "an idle mind is certainly a devil's workshop."
He also said the whole venture was also an opportunity to help the youths showcase as well as develop their football talents. A move which he said can surely lead to the revelation of the Eto Fils of tomorrow.

He thanked some of the sports promoters of the City like CDC General Manager, Njalla Quan, Thomas Tchio of Ets Tchitos, HYSACAM and many others who gave both financial and moral support to ensure the success of the tournament. The President of the Organising Committee, Leon Ngoyo, assured the population that there shall be another tournament next year.
